โรงเรียนปิยะมินทร์คุณารักษ์ โดยความควบคุมของ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ก่อตั้งโดย ดร.ศิริพันธ์ เวชสิทธิ์ ในปีพุทธศักราช 2538 ได้รับอนุญาตให้เปิดสอนหลักสูตร การดูแลเด็กเล็กและการดูแลผู้สูงอายุหลักสูตรต้นแบบสำนักงานคณะกรรมการศึกษาเอกชน กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ ปี พ.ศ. 2538  หลักสูตรผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุ รับรองหลักสูตรโดยกรมสนับสนุนบริการสุขภาพ กระทรวงสาธารณะสุข ปี พ.ศ. 2564 และหลักสูตรประกาศนียบัตรพนักงานให้การดูแล Certificate Program for Nurses ‘ aides / Caregivers) รับรองหลักสูตรโดยสภาการพยาบาล ปี พ.ศ. 2565
ณ ปัจจุบันมีผู้สำเร็จการศึกษากว่า 10,000 คน ตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 30 ปี ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาคุณภาพอย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงส่งผลให้ทางโรงเรียนได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสากล ISO: 9001 เวอร์ชั่น 2000 เมื่อปี พุทธศักราช 2547 และได้รับการประกันคุณภาพภายในระดับดีมากมาโดยตลอด จากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการในปีพุทธศักราช 2552 , 2555 , 2558  รางวัลคุณธรรมอวอร์ด (Moral Award) จากศูนย์คุณธรรม องค์การมหาชน ปี 2564 และรางวัล Senior Care Business Quality Award 2022 สาขา Nurses‘aides / Caregivers Education
In addition, the school is the first and only nursing school to receive a shield from the Office of the Consumer Protection Board, which certifies that the school operates with transparency and does not take advantage of students in terms of teaching, expenses, welfare, and job certification after graduation. Piyaminthararak School continues to stand firm in organizing teaching and learning with standards and quality to be a part in creating youth to be good people who can serve society and the country.
