Piyamint Kunarak School invited Nursing Professor Thanawat Ruamsuk (Assistant Dean for Affairs, Faculty of Nursing, Kasembundit University) to give a lecture on Knowing and Thinking...Being Aware of Drug Prevention to make students aware of the dangers of drugs and not getting involved with drugs, in accordance with Strategy 1 of the To Be Number One project, a campaign to raise awareness and create a trend that is conducive to preventing and solving drug problems, in order to disseminate knowledge about drug prevention to students.

International Day Against Drug Abuse

On “International Anti-Drug Day,” students from the To Be Number One Club, Piyamintharak School, walked in a campaign against drugs and provided health checks and blood pressure measurements for people, vendors, motorcycle taxi drivers, and the general public in the Min Buri community. All students were very proud to have had the opportunity to be of use to society, which is Strategy 1: a campaign to raise awareness and create a trend that is conducive to preventing and solving drug problems, in order to create a trend among youth not to get involved with drugs.

Teachers' Day: Instilling morality and ethics

Teachers' Day Activity, Piyamint Kunarak School, students organized the Teachers' Day ceremony to show respect and remember the kindness of teachers who have trained and taught us to be good people with morality and ethics and can apply their knowledge to a career as a nursing assistant. Today, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriphan Wetchasit (school director) organized the activity of "giving eggs" which are like "patients' lives and their own lives" that are fragile and can easily break. Therefore, we must be careful in taking care of them. This is part of the To Be Number One activity to develop EQ in terms of self-control according to Strategy 2: Strengthening mental immunity for youths to have strong minds, be patient, and be careful of themselves from problems and obstacles. They can solve problems so that they can stay away from drugs.

World No Tobacco Day, Piyamin Kunarak School walks to campaign in Minburi community

Piyaminkunarak School joined the To Be Number One Club activity by walking to campaign on World No Tobacco Day, May 31, led by Dr. Siriphan Wetsit (school director) to encourage people in the Minburi community to be aware of the toxic effects of cigarettes on their own health and those close to them. Strategy 1: Campaign to raise awareness and create a trend that is conducive to preventing and solving drug problems, to disseminate knowledge about drug prevention among youth and the general public.

Step into the number one position, free from drug addiction, by creating a sustainable network.

Stepping towards being number one, free from drugs "When you have clear life goals, you will step towards being number one, free from drugs." Piyamintharakunnarak Nursing School led by Dr. Siriphan Wetchasit (School Director) has awarded certificates to students of Setthabutbamphen School who have completed the To Be Number One...To Be Nurse Project "Stepping towards being number one...in the nursing profession" organized by the To Be Number One Club, Piyamintharakunnarak School, in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, Kasembundit University, and the Faculty of Nursing, Rangsit University. This is the 3rd strategy to create and develop a network for drug prevention and solution, so that members of the TO BE NUMBER ONE network have the opportunity to exchange and learn from each other's work experiences, which will lead to the expansion and development of efficiency in drug prevention and solution in a sustainable manner.

CPR First Aid and Life Support Training

To Be Number One Club, Piyamint Kunarak School, led by Dr. Siriphan Wetchasit (School Director), organized a social service project, “First Aid and CPR Training” for students of Sukhumnawphan Uppatham School, with the Deputy Director of Sukhumnawphan Uppatham School as the opening ceremony chairman. This training was attended by students of Piyamint Kunarak School, who are members of the To Be Number One Club, who volunteered to “take students to practice CPR” to enhance their sense of self-worth and social awareness, in accordance with Strategy 2 to enhance mental immunity to be number one. Students who participated in the training received happiness and fun while learning about first aid and CPR, so that they could apply their knowledge to save the lives of those in emergency situations, in order to create a sense of self-worth for students as well.

Developing Personality Towards Excellence

Students of Piyamint Kunarak School, studying the Nurses' aides: NA course, which is a short course of only 4 months, have received training on "Personality Development to Excellence" on a simulator at the Aviation Personnel Development Institute, Kasembundit University, taught by the institute's flight attendant instructor. Developing an elegant personality because a beautiful external personality will control the mind to be beautiful and humble, which is an important secret that affects mental strength to be number one and not rely on drugs. This is the second strategy of To Be Number One, building mental immunity for youth, making students feel proud and impressed by developing their own personalities. They can also apply their knowledge and skills to care for and provide services to patients professionally.

Piyamint Kunarak School led by Dr. Siriphan Wetchasit (School Director) decorated bows for students of the school who studied the Nurses'aides: NA course, which is a short course of only 4 months, who passed the Smart PK personality development test to welcome them to the To Be Number One project to make students who entered or graduated have good personalities and elegance according to Strategy 2: Strengthening mental immunity for youths to stay away from drugs by building self-confidence and credibility with those who see them because a good personality will lead you to various opportunities that can be further developed to success in life.

The faculty led by Dr. Siriphan Wetchasit (Director) came to welcome the evaluation committee for the operation of the TO BE NUMBER ONE Zone, Bangkok, Minburi District, and presented the results of the operation of Piyaminthararak School, which followed the strategies of the To Be Number One Project, “Be Number One, Not Dependent on Drugs,” in all 3 strategies: 1. Campaigning to raise awareness and create trends that support prevention and resolution of drug problems; 2. Strengthening mental immunity for youth; 3. Creating and developing networks for prevention and resolution of drug problems.

One of the prides of To Be Number One Idol of Piyamin Kunarak School, Professor Dr. Siriphan Wetchasit (Director of Piyamin Kunarak School) has awarded a medal of honor to Mr. Peerapat Panprom as To Be Number One Idol of the 186th generation. Before coming to study, he smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day and drank 5-10 bottles of alcohol a day.
